Goal of the project
The aim is to set up a traditional Indian health and education center of all Ayurvedic as well as traditional medicinal practices of India for the service of general masses to serve traditional Indian culture as well health under guidance of AMCT.

Infrastructure
The total premises land is spread out in 22 acres, with building occupying 2400sq ft and other building occupying around 2000 sq ft. one of the building is supposed to house and provide residential facility to the patients and the VAIDAYA along with consultation offices and kitchen.
The Lanja center presently constitutes of two buildings as premises with reception, consultation office, four rooms for PANCHAKARMA, patient ward kitchen, two OPDs, residential space to accommodate the attendants and office. However the plan is to expand the infrastructure is on cards in the near future.
Team format
The team at LANJA will be one of the units of Agastyamatah Charitable Trust (AMCT) under guidance of Sri K T Sivanandan ji, but it will function under private sector presently. The unit “TARA Sampurna Bhartiya Chikitsa Paddhati Kendra” will represent itself as the branch of AMCT functioning successfully nationwide. Dr Mandar Tirmare is heading entire project.
Activities at TARA Sampurna Bhartiya Chikitsa Paddhati Kendra – Lanja Center
Setting up for health Ayurvedic hospital (Paramparik Chikitsa Kendra), residential & research and Ayurvedic Medicine formulation center, here we are going to serve Ayurveda, Yoga, Siddha, Paramparik, Panchbhautik, Paramparik Gurukulam (based on ancient education formation) , Goshala, educational center for children and adults for training them in tradition medicinal arts and practices.

Lanja comes in the district of Ratangiri with a population of 30,000. The people are mostly Konkani and speak Kokani language. The place is characterized with mild & moderate climate and fertile soil. The main occupation is agriculture which includes commercial farming of Cashews, rice and all types of vegetables. The cashews are transported all over Asian continent for their quality. The people of Lanja have maintained the purity of the indigenous breeds of cows. The river flowing through this area is not rain fed and flows throughout the year. People are simple and friendly.

How To reach Lanja
One can come to Lanja from Ratnagiri railway station located 35 Km away. Another station located 10 km from Lanja is Adawali station but not many train stop at this station.
If one wishes to take the bus the one can start from Kholapur; 90 km away.
One can come from Goa directly by train to Ratnagiri or take a flight from Goa to Kholapur.
